Trade Garage Equipment made their presence felt whilst supporting the key sponsor ‘Rotary Lifts UK’ at the prestigious AM100 annual dinner, held at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
The AM100 publication is the annual industry guide to the 100 largest dealer groups in the country, according to their company turnover and is considered one of the biggest networking events of its kind. In addition to offering its guests the opportunity to network, the AM100 provides a detailed analysis of the state of the industry and looks at the key issues facing dealers and their customers. The AM100 is an invaluable opportunity to meet friends and colleagues in the retail industry and be amongst the first to see the official unveiling of the new AM100 listing of UK automotive retail groups ahead of publication in AM.
Members of Trade Garage Equipment Ltd attended the evening event along with Rotary Lifts UK Ltd, who were one of the principal sponsors of this year’s event. Amongst the formal presentations was the guest after dinner speaker Ken Livingstone, who shared some stories from his past political career as well as a hint or two of his vision of the near future! Mr Livingstone finished on a ‘questions and answers’ session which certainly brought a smile to most people’s faces. In all, the event provided a unique opportunity to reach out to representatives of some of the country’s largest dealerships and discuss the industry in great detail.
Director of T.R Bullworthy Ltd Stefan Bullworthy shared some thoughts on the evening:- “It was a fantastic opportunity to be able to put names to faces and make a conversation without modern technology intervening. The hectic day-to-day running of any successful company, using mobile phones and emails is forcing business to be done behind closed doors, it was a refreshing change in the knowledge that all of the most important and key people within the automotive trade were under one roof, relaxed, and having a good time. To reflect upon the achievements of each company within AM100 list just goes to prove how important the dealer groups are, not only to my business, but also the British economy”.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Rotary Lifts UK for inviting us to such a prestigious event and would also like to thank the members of the AM100 publication of their warm hospitality.
